Who we are
NEXORA IT TECH SERVICES is a conventional partnership registered in Malaysia under the Registration of Businesses Act 1956, operating from Kuala Lumpur. We are the data user in respect of the personal data described here.
Our business registration number with the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM) is 202603227248 (SA0657601-T). Correspondence about this notice, including requests under the PDPA, should be sent using the contact details in "Contacting us" below.
What we collect
The contact form is the only part of this website that collects personal data. When you submit it we receive the name, email address and message you type, and the company name if you choose to give one.
We also record, automatically, the IP address the submission came from, your browser user-agent string, the language version of the site you used, and the time of submission.
We do not run advertising trackers, we do not build visitor profiles, and this website sets no cookies of its own.
Why we collect it
The name, email, company and message are used to read your enquiry and reply to it. The IP address, user-agent and timestamp are kept for one purpose only: investigating spam and abuse of the form.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for marketing unless you separately ask us to.
How long we keep it
We keep the enquiry itself - your name, email address, company and message - for 24 months from the date you send it, because an enquiry may become a project and the correspondence is a commercial record. We keep the IP address and browser user-agent for 3 months, which is as long as they are useful for investigating spam and abuse.
These periods are our stated retention policy. Automatic scheduled deletion is not yet in place - it is being built - so for now deletion is carried out manually. You can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time, and we will act on that request regardless of the periods above.
Who else handles it
Cloudflare, Inc. hosts this website and stores the enquiry database on our behalf, and provides the bot check on the form. Cloudflare acts as our data processor.
A copy of each enquiry is emailed to our team inbox, which is hosted by Google. No other third party receives this data.
Both Cloudflare and Google are global providers, so personal data may be processed outside Malaysia. The enquiry database is created with an Asia-Pacific location hint, which is a preference and not a guarantee that data is stored only in this region.
TODO(legal): the legal basis for this transfer under PDPA section 129 is with a lawyer and is not yet settled. Section 129 was amended in 2024 and we will state our position here once it is confirmed.
Your rights
Under the PDPA you may ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, ask us to delete it, and withdraw any consent you have given. Write to us at the address in the next section and we will respond.
We will respond to any such request within 21 days, in line with the PDPA. Requests are handled by the Chief Executive Partner, who is responsible for data protection matters at Nexora IT Tech.
